Privacy policy
Who this policy applies to
This privacy policy applies to everyone who interacts with Launchite, including:
- Visitors to launchite.in and our other web properties
- People who contact us for a quote or free consultation (via form, email, or WhatsApp)
- Clients who hire us to design, build, host, or maintain a website or web tool
- Authorised contacts at a client business (owners, managers, staff we work with)
Information we collect
We only collect information that helps us respond to you, deliver our services, or keep client projects secure and running. The type of data depends on how you interact with us.
- Contact & enquiry details: name, business name, phone number, email (if provided), project description, timeline preferences, and messages you send us
- Communication records: emails, WhatsApp messages, call notes, and meeting summaries relevant to your project
- Account & project data: login details we create for admin panels, content you provide for your website, brand assets, and configuration choices
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited on our own website (via standard analytics, where enabled)
- Billing information: invoices, payment references, and GST/billing details — we do not store full card or UPI credentials on our servers; payments are handled by payment processors such as Razorpay or bank transfer records you share
- End-user data on client sites: if we build forms, booking tools, or login areas for you, those tools may collect data from your customers — you own that relationship; we process it only to operate the service you hired us for
How we collect information
- Directly from you when you fill our contact form, message on WhatsApp, email us, or speak with our team
- During project discovery, kickoff, and ongoing support when you share content, credentials, or feedback
- Automatically through cookies and analytics on launchite.in (see Cookies below)
- From third-party services you ask us to connect — for example, payment gateways, CRM tools, or calendar apps — only with your direction and within the scope of your project
How we use your information
We use personal information for legitimate business purposes connected to our services. We do not sell your data to advertisers or data brokers.
- Reply to enquiries and provide free consultation before you decide to hire us
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and written scope documents
- Design, develop, host, secure, and maintain your website or web tool
- Process content updates, integrations, and support requests you send us
- Send invoices, payment reminders, and project status updates
- Monitor uptime, security, backups, and performance of hosted projects
- Improve our own website and internal processes (in aggregated form where possible)
- Comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests, and protect our rights
WhatsApp and messaging
WhatsApp is a primary channel for many of our clients. When you message us on WhatsApp, your messages and phone number are processed according to WhatsApp’s own privacy policy and terms, in addition to this policy.
We use WhatsApp to answer questions, share quotes, receive content, and coordinate project work. Please do not send sensitive information (such as passwords or full payment card numbers) over chat. We will never ask for your card PIN or OTP.
Third-party services we use
Like most modern web businesses, we rely on trusted providers to deliver our services. These providers process data only as needed to perform their function.
- Form delivery (e.g. Web3Forms) — to receive contact form submissions securely
- Email providers — to send and receive project communication
- Cloud hosting & CDN (e.g. Vercel, AWS, Cloudflare) — to host websites and applications
- Analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, where enabled) — to understand traffic on our site or yours, if included in scope
- Payment gateways (e.g. Razorpay, Stripe, Cashfree) — when we or our clients accept online payments
- Integration partners — CRM, email marketing, calendars, messaging APIs, and AI services you approve for your project
- Backup & monitoring tools — to keep client sites available and recoverable
Client websites and your customers
When we build a website, form, booking flow, or portal for your business, you are responsible for telling your own customers what data you collect and why — usually through your own privacy notice on that site.
We act as a service provider: we host and maintain the technical setup, apply security updates, and process data submitted through your site only to operate the features you requested. If you need help drafting a simple privacy notice for your end customers, ask us during scoping.
Cookies and similar technologies
Our marketing website may use essential cookies required for basic functionality, and optional analytics cookies to understand how visitors use launchite.in.
Client websites we build may include cookies or local storage for features such as session login, shopping carts, or analytics — exactly what is used will be defined in your project scope. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect site functionality.
How long we keep data
- Enquiry data: typically up to 24 months after last contact, unless you become a client or ask us to delete it sooner
- Client project files & correspondence: for the duration of the engagement and a reasonable period after (usually up to 7 years for billing and legal records, unless a shorter period is agreed)
- Backups: rotated on a schedule; deleted data may persist in backups for a limited time before being overwritten
- Analytics: retained according to the analytics provider’s settings, often 14–26 months
How we protect your information
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including HTTPS/SSL on hosted sites, access controls, regular backups, and limiting staff access to what is needed for each project.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If we become aware of a breach that affects your personal data, we will notify you and relevant authorities as required by applicable law.
Your rights and choices
Depending on applicable law (including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, where it applies), you may have the right to:
- Access a copy of personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Request deletion of information we no longer need — subject to legal or contractual retention requirements
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Nominate another person to exercise rights on your behalf in certain circumstances
- Raise a concern with us first; we will respond within a reasonable time
Children’s privacy
Our services are aimed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 without appropriate parental or guardian consent. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
International data processing
We primarily serve clients in India. Some of our infrastructure and integration partners may process data on servers located outside India (for example, global cloud or email providers). When this happens, we use providers with appropriate safeguards and only for the purposes described in this policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technology, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised policy, unless otherwise required by law.
Contact and grievance
For privacy questions, access requests, corrections, or deletion requests, contact:

We aim to acknowledge privacy requests within 7 business days and resolve them within 30 days where possible. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority in India once fully notified under applicable law.
